Biography
Vyacheslav Ivanovych Sichkar, born in 1942, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Breeding, Genetics and Seed Production of Legume Crops at the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute – National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigation (Odesa, Ukraine). Studied genetics at Kyiv state University. Scientific supervisor of research works on the development of highly adaptive varieties of leguminous crops. Author of more than 70 varieties of soybean, pea, chickpea, alfalfa. Under his leadership, 9 researchers defended their dissertations. More than 600 scientific works have published
