Tshegofatso Dikobe is an associate professor at the North-West University in the department of Botany, South Africa. My research focuses on understanding how crops, particularly cereals, respond and adapt to a range of abiotic and biotic stresses such as water stress, high soil salinity, high temperature, plant pathogens (bacterial & fungal), and pests. This line of research is motivated by the need to develop crops that produce maximally under harsh environmental conditions and plant pathogen response, and thus enhance food security.
