Biography
Dr. Sunandana Mandal is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Moyna College (Affiliated to Vidyasagar University), holding a Ph.D. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from Visva-Bharati. She achieved a consistently strong academic record, qualifying for CSIR-UGC NET and GATE, and received a UGC-JRF/SRF fellowship. Dr. Mandal has numerous publications in reputable journals and has contributed book chapters. She delivered Keynote Lectures at the Plant Science and Molecular Biology World Conferences (PMBWC-2024 and PMBWC-2025) and received a CSIR Foreign Travel Grant. She serves on editorial teams, is a member of the Indian Society of Soil Science and Asian Council of Science Editors, and reviews for prestigious international journals, including Environmental Science: Advances (Royal Society of Chemistry), Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (Springer), Journal of Plant Nutrition (Taylor & Francis; Scopus-indexed), and Academia Biology (Web of Science).
