I am Dr. Muhammad Azad, a Research Associate and Lab Manager at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, USA, where I oversee plant science research and supervise graduate thesis students. My expertise spans molecular biology, microbiology, and plant physiology. I earned my PhD in Plant Biochemistry from Saitama University, Japan. Previously, I was a faculty member at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, conducting research in plant molecular biology, green nanoparticle synthesis, and PCR-based microbial detection. My current research focuses on the bioactive compounds of sweet potato, their role in disease prevention, and the molecular mechanisms of stress management in sweet potato.
