Biography

My name is Mohammed Isa, AUYO, born 1st May, 1966 at Auyo Town of Jigawa State Nigeria. I am Hausa by tribe and speaks English, Hausa and Arabic with considerable fluency. I attended Auyo Yamma Special Primary School, Jigawa State from 1974 to 1980, where I obtained my Primary School Certificate. I attended Government Teachers’ College Garki, Jigawa from 1980 to 1985 and got TC II Certificate, School of Basic Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria from 1986 to 1987 for my I. J. M. B. E and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, from 1987 to 1990 for my B.Sc. Botany degree and Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, 2005 to 2010 for my M.Sc. Botany in Plant Physiology. I obtained my Ph.D. Botany (Plant Physiology) from same Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, 2010 to 2015.  My working career started with One year National Service at Army Day Children’s School, 223 Tank Battalion, Zuru, Kebbi State, (October, 1990- October, 1991), Kano State, College of Arts, Science and Remedial Studies as Lecturer (1992-1999), Bayero University Staff Secondary School, Kano as Education Officer (2002-2011) and now working with Federal University, Dutse where I started as Assistant Lecturer and currently a Reader from Oct., 2022.
