Mohamed Tarek is a researcher at the Department of Botany and Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University, Cairo. This Review focuses on microbial biotechnology and sustainable agricultural practices, with a specific interest in developing advanced delivery systems for biocontrol agents. Focus on the encapsulation of beneficial rhizobacteria using natural polymers to improve their survival in fluctuating soil environments. This Review aims to bridge the gap between laboratory-scale microbiology and field-ready bio-fertilization technologies to reduce reliance on synthetic pesticides.
