This is Kirti Sharma, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding at GLA University, Uttar Pradesh, India. My academic interests focus on plant stress physiology, particularly salinity stress in seed spices, and the application of tissue culture techniques for the development of stress-tolerant cultivars through somaclonal variation. My research aims to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of salt stress tolerance in seed spices to support sustainable agricultural practices. I am dedicated to developing sustainable and integrative strategies that integrate conventional breeding with advanced biotechnological tools to improve crop resilience under saline conditions.
