Biography
Dr. Kaneez Fatima holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and is currently serving as an IPFP Fellow at Government College Women University, Sialkot. Dr. Kaneez Fatima is a dedicated plant pathologist with expertise in the characterization and management of Fusarium spp. associated with chickpea wilt disease. Her research spans molecular diagnostics, microbial identification, and sustainable disease management strategies. She is skilled in statistical software (R, SPSS), chromatographic techniques (HPLC, LCMS, GCMS). Dr. Fatima also has experience in antimicrobial screening, tissue culture, and cancer cell line studies. Passionate about bridging plant health and biotechnology, she is currently exploring the molecular and physiological effects of medicinal plant extracts on seed germination and gene expression in wheat.
