My name is Houssam Assiouii, I am 26 years old and reside in Casablanca. As a doctoral candidate at Hassan II University - Faculty of Sciences Ain Chock, I am conducting research in the Laboratory of Immunology and Biodiversity on the effects of the Moroccan medicinal plant Satureja nepeta on intestinal inflammation and the dynamics of the gut microbiota. I have delivered several oral presentations and poster sessions in Morocco, Tunisia, and Belgium, sharing my findings and contributing to scientific advancements in these fields. My work aims to explore the therapeutic potential of Satureja nepeta and its impact on gut health, enhancing our understanding of its benefits in traditional medicine.
