Biography

Fatma Bendimerad is an accomplished biologist with extensive academic and professional experience. She earned her Diploma of Higher Studies (D.E.S) in Biology, specializing in Biochemistry, in 1993, followed by a Master's in Food and Nutrition in 2014 and a Doctorate in Nutrition and Health in 2021. Fluent in both French and English, Fatma has held several key positions at the University of Tlemcen. She served as the Head of the educational laboratory in Biochemistry and Biophysics from 2004 to 2010 and later transitioned to the Hemobiology and Immunology laboratory until 2013. Currently, she is on secondment to the Plant Biology laboratory while also working as a research laboratory attaché in General Surgery under Professor Belkalfat. Additionally, she has contributed as an assistant in practical animal biology from 2016 to 2023, demonstrating her dedication to both research and education in the field of biology.
