Biography
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Hashimi is a dedicated academic and researcher with expertise in plant physiology, genetics, and biotechnology. Currently serving as an associate professor at King Saud University, he coordinates the Plant Unit and leads multidisciplinary research on stress-resistant crops, genetic diversity, and sustainable agriculture. With a Ph.D. from Kansas State University, he has contributed to over 12 peer-reviewed publications on topics like salinity tolerance, phytoremediation, and nanoparticle applications in plants. His work bridges teaching, mentorship, and applied research, including collaborations with the USDA. Recognized for leadership, he holds certifications in data analysis, proposal writing, and accreditation standards, reflecting his commitment to advancing plant sciences and education.
